Squads, Summits, and Success: How Inner Circle Sparks Real Results

Most networking groups talk about collaboration. At the Inner Circle Network, we actually built our entire community around it.

Walk into any traditional networking event and you'll feel that competitive energy. People guarding their contacts, worried about sharing too much, keeping other professionals in their industry at arm's length. It's the opposite of what networking should be.

At the Inner Circle, we decided to take a radical approach. We created a space where we focus on collaboration, not competition.

A Different Kind of Network

Our foundation is simple but powerful. We don't limit the number of people from each industry who can join. Marketing consultants, financial advisors, HR professionals—they all gather in the same virtual and physical rooms, and instead of competing, they're figuring out how to help each other grow.

This approach shapes everything about how our community works, helping members connect on a deeper level.

Where Real Connections Take Root

How does Inner Circle stand out from other networking groups? With membership benefits that encourage collaboration and long-term relationships.

Industry Squads bring together professionals from the same field every month and are led by volunteer Inner Circle members. After three months of membership, members are eligible to join Squads such as marketing, financial services, HR, and other industries. These hour-long sessions create space to share what's really happening in your industry, discuss business challenges with people who understand, refer business to each other, and bring each other in on projects.

For members at our Platinum and Diamond levels, Mastermind Circles take collaboration to the next level. These monthly meetups bring together Platinum and Diamond level members from different industries, led by Inner Circle founders Kim Kleeman and Joy Poli. The conversations delve deeper here, tackling larger challenges and building high-level collaborations.

Our Small Business Essentials Program provides every member with a dedicated spot on the Inner Circle website where you can showcase an offer, complete with your logo and a link to your site. It's a straightforward way to ensure the entire community is aware of what you bring to the table.

Building Community Beyond Business

Through our Champions of Change program, we award memberships each year to handpicked nonprofit leaders, funded through our member events. These leaders receive support from Inner Circle leadership and attend monthly meetings where they connect with other nonprofit professionals, share ideas, grow their leadership skills, and build the same collaborative relationships that fuel the rest of our network.

Events That Actually Matter

We host regular Virtual Happy Hours and Virtual Leadership Lunches that feel surprisingly personal, even through a screen. Three premier in-person events each year—our Leadership Summit, Golf Outing, and CEO Retreat—bring the community together face-to-face.

These events do more than fill your calendar. They're where power partnerships begin. These relationships go beyond typical networking connections.

What defines a power partner? Power partners:

  • collaborate on projects

  • refer business regularly

  • seek advice from each other

  • lean on each other for support

The one-on-one meetings that follow our events often develop into these deeper partnerships.

Growing Leaders from Within

We invest in our own community through the Light Leaders program. Members who show strong leadership skills and a genuine desire to give back get invited to become volunteer leaders. They complete training through our Torch Institute, a leadership program we designed specifically for new Light Leaders.

This creates a culture where experienced members actively support newer ones, and leadership opportunities are available for those who want to contribute more.

The Difference You Can Feel

When you become an Inner Circle member, you notice a mindset shift that happens when you stop viewing other professionals as threats and start seeing them as potential partners. When two people in the same industry meet at one of our events, that initial tension dissolves quickly. They start discussing real challenges, sharing insights, and discovering each other’s areas of expertise, often ending up in collaboration on projects neither could handle alone.

At the Inner Circle, we prove that when you remove competition from networking and focus on genuine collaboration, opportunities flow naturally. From Squads to Summits, from Virtual Happy Hours to Power Partnerships, every piece works together to create a community where everyone grows stronger together.
